Ben Wenrich is the Children's pastor of kidLife ministries at Celebration Community Church. He is married to his sweetheart, Beth, and they have five children: Josiah, Stevi, Keion, Tristan and Ayzen. Since 2009, Ben and Beth have served in both young adults and children's ministry at CCC.
Ben has been the full-time children's pastor since 2012. He graduated from Valley Forge Christian College with a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education and studied Elementary School Counseling at Lancaster Bible School. Before coming to CCC, he was a Children and Youth pastor from 2001-2005. From 2005 to 2012, he worked with behaviorally and emotionally-challenged children and youth in various capacities within Harrisburg schools and homes. He also served as an elementary school counselor with Wordsworth Academy from 2007 to 2012.
As they re-entered full-time children's ministry, Ben and Beth also felt the need to bring the ministry into their home. They began the journey of foster care and have since adopted four children. They continue to remain involved in fostering.
Ben loves skateboarding, paddle boarding and surfing (although he doesn't get to surf often). But most of all, Ben and Beth love being with each other and with their family. They enjoy camping and spending time around the campfire.
Ben and Beth have a desire to see children raised in families who are passionate, sincere, followers of Christ. Their desire is for children to come to know the amazing love of God in their lives. They want to see children confident in their faith and in the knowledge that Christ can and will use them, even while they are a child—or better yet—especially while they are a child. They desire to see families raising children who walk in their God-given destinies from childhood.
They consider it their privilege to serve the Lord as the leaders of kidLife and have a great group of kids and committed leaders who are called to serve the Lord and share His love with them.
